Salman Khan to produce Hindi remake of Marathi film
Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently debuted as a producer with children’s flick, ‘Chillar Party’. Though the movie couldn’t garner much money at the Box Office, it did win a lot of praise for Salman. According to reports, the actor-producer has zeroed in on his second production venture already. If everything goes according to plans, Salman might produce the remake of a Marathi film, ‘Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho’, originally directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
Mahesh and Salman have been bonding big time ever since the release of their film ‘Wanted’. They also acted together in ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ready’ and will be seen in ‘Bodyguard’ too, which is due for release at the end of this August. Manjrekar has confirmed that he is planning to make the remake with Salman and that it will be produced by Sallu’s banner, Salman Khan Being Human Productions.
Interestingly, gossip mongers have already started speculating about the leading lady of the film and Kangna Ranaut’s name is being forwarded as the possible choice. However, Manjrekar denies any such thing and has said that all other details of the film are to be decided upon once Salman gets free from his current commitments.
