Philadelphia being the number one destination for African American travel, will host the Second Black Travel Expo at the First District Plaza, 3801 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. from March 19 – 20, 2010
The Grand Opening is set for 1PM on Friday March 19, 2010, immediately following with a Travel Agent Symposium and an Award presentation honoring women in tourism and hospitality in Celebration of Women History Month.
This comprehensive travel show will attract over 2000 attendees. They are looking for the exotic, the enticing and the diverse and the sophisticated from all parts of the world.
The attendees will enjoy cultural performances; seminars by travel experts, great give a ways every hour and entertainment for the entire family. The exhibitors include, cruise lines, tour operators, hotel, resorts, tourist bureaus, transportation providers, government agencies, travel agents and much much more such at the African American Market Place.
A comprehensive workshop on tourism and hospitality will be given by Temple University Department of Tourism and Hospitality to 100 high school students from the Philadelphia Public High School
